who we are
A community effort of families, friends and volunteers throughout the Kensington neighborhood in Brooklyn coming together to host cultural events that celebrate art, folklore and our diverse cultures. Casa Cultural has been able to host these events thanks to the many donations from local businesses, community members, collaborations and support from nonprofit organizations. We hope to grow further and expand programming for our community and beyond.
how we work
We collaborate with local schools like PS 230, PS 179 and PS 164 which gives Casa Cultural the opportunity to work closely with students and their families while engaging the community to explore our diverse cultures through various workshops on Latin American folk art.
